Payment Methods & Timing
Payment methods: Credit/debit card, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods available via Shopify at checkout.
Payment timing: Payment is confirmed at the time the order is placed (for card/online payments).
Shipping / Delivery
Orders are typically shipped within 3–5 business days after the order and payment are confirmed.
We do not ship on weekends, Japanese public holidays, year-end/New Year holidays, or other designated non-shipping days.
Delivery Method
Orders are delivered via our designated shipping carriers.
Returns, Defects, and Cancellations
Due to the nature of our products (food items), we do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for customer reasons (e.g., change of mind, incorrect order, taste preference, or “not as expected”).
We will accept returns/exchanges only if:

the item arrived damaged or defective, or

you received an incorrect item.
If this applies, please contact contact@issamatcha.com within 3 days of delivery.
Returns sent back without prior contact may not be accepted.
Return Deadline
Eligible cases must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
Return Shipping Cost

Our responsibility (defect/incorrect item): we cover return shipping.

Customer reason returns: not accepted.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available only for:

confirmed defective items, or
-
items shipped incorrectly.
To request a refund, email contact@issamatcha.com within 3 days of delivery and include:

your order number,
-
your name, and
-
photos showing the issue (if possible).
After review, we will provide either:

a replacement shipment, or
-
a refund (e.g., cancellation of the card charge or bank transfer).
Refunds are not available for:
-
customer reasons (taste preference, incorrect order, “not as expected”),
-
opened or partially consumed products (except where defect is confirmed),
-
requests made after 3 days from delivery.
