What we collect
When you send a sample request, contact form or newsletter sign-up we collect the details you type: name, business, email, address, phone or WhatsApp number, and your message. Our hosting provider (Netlify) records standard server logs.
Why
To reply to you, to invoice and ship samples and orders, to file the customs paperwork your shipment needs, and, if you subscribe, to send the monthly newsletter. We do not sell or rent your details.
Who sees it
Our team, and the service providers we use to run the business: Netlify (forms and hosting), Stripe (invoicing), our freight forwarder in Osaka, and our email provider. Each only receives what it needs for its job.
How long
Inquiries and order records are kept for as long as we have a business relationship with you and for the period Japanese tax law requires afterwards. You can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing contact@issamatcha.com.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies. It may load fonts from Google Fonts, which sets no cookies.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and unsubscribe from the newsletter with one click. Write to contact@issamatcha.com.
