Paperwork for Canada
  • Importers of food into Canada need a Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licence from the CFIA; most cafés that import directly obtain one online.
  • Retail packaging must be bilingual (English and French); bulk foil bags for your own drinks are not retail.
  • Organic lots ship with the JAS certificate under the Canada–Japan organic equivalency arrangement.
