Quotes and prices
Prices are quoted in USD per kilogram, FOB Osaka unless the quote says DDP. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices for standing monthly orders are fixed for the harvest year once confirmed in writing.
Samples
Sample requests are invoiced at the sample price plus shipping and any duties. Samples ship within 3 business days of payment. The sample fee and sample shipping are credited to the customer's first order of 5 kg or more.
Orders and payment
Orders are confirmed by invoice. Payment terms are 14 days from invoice date by card, bank transfer or Wise, unless otherwise agreed. Goods remain our property until paid in full.
Shipping and risk
For FOB Osaka orders, risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed to the carrier in Osaka. For DDP orders, risk passes on delivery. Transit times are estimates. The buyer is responsible for import licences in the destination country unless we have agreed DDP.
Quality and claims
Every lot ships with a certificate of analysis. Claims for damage or short delivery must be made within 7 days of receipt with photos. Matcha is a food product; we do not accept returns of opened goods.
Liability and law
Our liability is limited to the invoice value of the goods concerned. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan; the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction.
