Food importers register with MPI under the Food Act; tea is a low-risk food and no consignment-level permit is needed.
Commercial invoice, packing list and per-lot COA with every shipment; the courier lodges the entry.
Retail labelling follows FSANZ rules.
Organic claims rest on the JAS certificate that ships with the lot; check with your certifier for retail claims.
