Kagoshima matcha, wholesale.
Flat, sunny fields at the southern tip of Kyushu. Kagoshima grows more certified-organic tencha than anywhere else in Japan, which is why our organic café grade comes from here.

Why Kagoshima
Sun, scale, and organic paperwork that works in the US.
Kagoshima's large, flat farms are the easiest in Japan to run organically at volume. The trade-off is a softer, lighter cup than mountain Yame. For a latte at 2 g per cup that softness reads as smooth, and the JAS + USDA pair means you can print "organic" on a US menu without a second thought.

Questions buyers ask about Kagoshima
Is Kagoshima matcha lower quality than Kyoto or Fukuoka?
It is a different style: lighter, sweeter, less shaded intensity. For ceremonial usucha we point you to Yame; for an organic latte in volume, Kagoshima is the better buy.
Can you supply organic tencha in bulk?
Yes. With four weeks notice we can source up to roughly 1,000 kg per month of certified-organic Kagoshima tencha and mill it to your spec.
Is the USDA certificate the same as JAS?
JAS covers the field and mill in Japan. USDA recognition comes from the Japan–US equivalence arrangement and needs an export certificate per shipment, which we issue.
