Shizuoka produces more tea than any other prefecture and its mills run year-round. That is what lets us hold a café blend at one price for the harvest year and keep stock on the shelf in Osaka. Wa is blended for balance in milk; Mai and Mine are built for volume; Kaoru is the roasted, nutty one.

Questions buyers ask about Shizuoka
Is Shizuoka matcha good enough for a café latte?
It is what most Japanese cafés actually pour. Blended Shizuoka holds colour in milk and costs a third less than Yame ceremonial.
Which products are Halal certified?
Wa, Mai, Mine and Kaoru from Shizuoka, and Yame from Fukuoka, are milled at a facility holding Halal and Kosher certification. The certificates are the mill's; copies ship with the order.
Can you fix a price for the year?
For Shizuoka products, yes. Standing monthly orders get a fixed price for the harvest year and reserved stock.
